In a time when everything around us seem to be falling apart and we feel like we have so little control over what happens to our lives, this historical election has brought hope to the American people. It showed that our voices can be heard loud and clear, and then when we come together we can do some impossible things. It is remarkable that the inauguration of our first African-American President happens the day after the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. Realizing the dream that was put in front of us so many years ago.
I participated in the MLK365 March here in Sacramento CA with my husband and his affiliated companies, Melonhead Studio and MetroHub Network. I felt so honored to be a part of the excitement. I don't think I can ever express in words the magnitude of this day, but perhaps my photos will do a little more justice. Please go here to see the full story in photos.

Hey there! I wanted to let you know that I have been checking in with your blog every day to see if you have new stuff up. :-) I love seeing your new work!
In addition, I took your advice and set up a simple and free Wordpress blog dedicated specifically to my photography. Thanks so much for the advice!
I would still love to get our rugrats together. Let me know when you are free!
